Accompany on Lenten Journey in the Jubilee of Mercy

10 February 2016 – 23 March 2016 | Apostolic Events

The season of Lent during this Jubilee Year should be lived more intensely as a privileged moment to celebrate and experience God’s mercy. The readings are from the Gospel of Luke; the ‘gospel of mercy’. On the Fourth Sunday the reading is the parable of the two sons, the third of the ‘lost and found parables’ (Luke 15:1-32). In these parables we find the core of the Gospel. (9, 17) Pope Francis (The Face of Mercy, Misericordiae Vultus)

The program of lenten includes the sharing experience of the journey in the desert toward the joy of the Resurrection is a good chance to open our heart to God's Grace and prepare for the transformation which the Lord is acting upon us expecially in the year of Mercy when we are called to go on the track of mercy and compassion which our Lord is leading us. lenten journey
