We are two Vietnamese Religious Sisters belonging to the Congregation of the Sisters of St Paul of Chartres. We are residing at 3 Mitchell St, Mentone, Victoria, which is part of St Patrick and the Holy Angels Parish.

Thanks be to God. The Mass of Our Solemn Profession on 29th June 2006 at 7pm took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere, with many people attending. Everything exceeded our expectation.

We are very happy to have responded to God’s call of love. In complete freedom, we pledged an everlasting covenant with him at the altar. That moment was so brief yet so sacred and special to us. It was the “Seal of Love”.

Yes, God has sealed with love those He has chosen according to His mercy. That love has been extended to us in every facet of our lives. From the moment when we entered this world to the day He led us along His path to a new family. In the words of the prophet Isaiah, “See, I will never forget you. I have carved you on the palm of my hand.”

In the past ten years, we have been nurtured by this Congregation - Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres - our “new family”. Truly, God’s grace is endless, our hands are too small to hold it all. His love encompasses all of our lives. He took us across mountains and seas and landed us in a place that we never thought possible, we knew neither its geography, culture, nor its language.

He is always with us even when we thought we were alone.

Thanks be to God who has given us a Religious family. Though it extends to 32 countries, it has a unity and solidarity beyond any language and culture. Wherever we are, we can find the warmth of this family.

In the past two years, especially through this special occasion, we are even more convinced of the fulfillment of His promise that whoever left father, mother … to follow Him, would be rewarded a hundred times over. Everything is God’s gift!

We entrust everyone who has helped us in any way to God who is our all. May He shower abundant blessings on each one and reward them for their generosity. May we, through the mercy of God and His grace, be faithful to our promises to Him, to the mission and the charism of our Congregation.

“Whatever you do, you know that your first priority is to make God’s kingdom come”.
